Steps to Enrollment
- Talk to your school counselor.
- Print out and complete the an application (linked below) before and include all required information (transcript or report card, attendance records, test scores, and IEP if applicable).
- If you live outside of NUSD, you must have an inter-district transfer before you can attend.
- If you have an IEP, the amendment must specify that independent study is recommended.
- Students except grades 6-8 must have a 2.0 GPA and satisfactory attendance to be eligible.
- Intake interviews are conducted twice a month from August through April.
- Application MUST be signed by school counselor before submitting.
Please note: The district retains the right to deny or revoke an intra/inter district transfer request upon discovery that the application has been falsified. (Board Policy & Regulation AR5116.1)
NOVA OFFERS
Grades 6-12
- 1:1 instruction with a teacher for one hour, once a week
- Co-enrollment at Novato High, San Marin High, College of Marin, and Santa Rosa Junior College
- Small math labs in Algebra I and Geometry
- Math tutoring twice a week
